A wonderful rustic, yet spacious cabin in the shadow of Mount Hood, Oregon. Whiskey Creek Cabin provides ready access to the scenic hiking, biking and equestrian trails around Mount Hood.

The cabin was built in 1930 by the legendary Mount Hood wood craftsman and renowned cabin builder Henry Steiner. He and his son's built many of the cabins in the local area during the first half of the twentieth century. Henry's personal touches are everywhere that you look. Originally located at Whiskey Creek, along the Barlow Road, it was moved to it's present location near Brightwood, next to Hackett Creek, in the 1960's when the highway was widened.

Whiskey Creek Cabin has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated for your comfort and relaxation. We know how important that is after a long day on the trail. The kitchen is well supplied, more so than most everyday kitchens. Holiday meals, piece of cake. The linens and pillows are new and fresh. You wont find a minimal supply of mismatched towels, but you will find large, luxurious towels and a lot of them. That is just the beginning of the small details that will make this your favorite retreat on the mountain. We did our best to add all the comforts of home and then some for both you and your canine friends.
